Assistant Art Director (First Assistant, Second, Third)
The assistant art directors are responsible for carrying out the art director's plans, including measuring locations and other necessary information the production designer needs.
On larger productions, assistant art directors will manage the smaller locations or sets.
On many sets, a draughtsman in usually the first assistant art director.
